Geomatic Technologies (GT) elevated Mobile Assessment & Surveillance Tool (elMAST) provides low altitude aerial photography for applications with surveillance, inspection or assessment needs. The combination of a mobile elevated mast and a sophisticated digital camera provides a true bird’s eye view in both high resolution, still or video media forms.
GT elMAST consists of:
- An extendable mast, mounted to your vehicle. The mast’s height can be extended to 16 meters.
- A digital camera, which is supported by the mast. The features of the digital camera (pan, tilt and zoom) can be adjusted wirelessly to ensure the quality of the image capture.
GT elMAST provides a valuable tool for engineers and inspectors working with all types of elevated infrastructure, therefore allowing for safe and close inspection of electrical equipment such as insulators, cross arms and various fittings commonly found on electricity distributing poles. GT elMAST has also been designed for use within emergency services and asset inspection environments where rapid deployment is required; once installed GT elMAST can be deployed within 90 seconds.
GT elMAST is designed to fit all larger off road 4WDs and vans through standard universal roof rack connections. GT elMAST can be removed and refitted within minutes giving you peace of mind. No need for expensive customizations!
